The sport and leisure goods retailer Sportland is committed to create the best and most inspiring retail environment in the world. But their ambition also stretches to the experience created online. They are now exploring how 3D models can support the customer journey and help fulfill their customer experience vision online. As a leading retailer they are also actively addressing the need to reduce returns and hope the initiative of using photo realistic 3D models will help support this goal.
– We’re happy that we can give our customers extra value with 360 and AR product pictures which also is decreasing the return rates since customers have a much better and realistic overview of the products, says Linda Lepassalu, Digital Marketing Specialist.
Today Sportland has over 100 products with photo realistic 3D models implemented on their e-commerce site. They are leveraging both the interactive 3D-viewer, 3D-model product images capabilities and the AR-placement functionality.
